Los Angeles Lifeguard HQ - Los Angeles County Lifeguard Headquarters is on Ocean Front Walk, Venice Beach. It is the nation's largest ocean lifeguard organization with over 100 full-time and 600 part-time or seasonal lifeguards covering 31 miles of beach and 70 miles of coastline. This used to be the City of Los Angeles Lifeguard Headquarters until 1975.
